This app can help configuring new iBeacons.
In most cases of having a new iBeacon device, one needs to change the UUID (Universally unique identifier) to something unique.
This UUID most of the times has to be without hyphens.
The apps randomly generates UUID without hyphens with a copy button and send to email that also include the original UUID (with hyphens - needed for CLBeaconRegion).
Use the generated UUID from your clipboard in your BLE configuring app or send it to yourself.
